This is a little twist on the ever popular pillow case dress. Some you may recognize the ruffles from the capri pants in an earlier post, but these ruffles are made from bias cut strips of fabric, sewn together, stitched down the middle and ruffled. Again, I used 1/8" grosgrain ribbon, zig zagged over the center thread. Poor Aubrey, she's probably going to have a dozen of these.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE making little girls clothes. The bows and ruffles and all that frilly stuff, but every once in a while I need to remember the boys. This is Coleman's Jon Jon. Todd doesn't think much of it, but Robin likes it. Anyone else have an opinion?

OK, I said this blog was to show off things I make, and I did make the hooded towel and bath mitt but I have to give credit to my daughter Robin and my SIL Todd for this beautiful baby boy. Coleman was only about 10 months old in this picture and is 22 months now. I'm sitting here listening to Todd teach him his ABCs while giving him a bath, and then he will dry him off with this towel tonight. I love my family.
